Welcome to Femme FatSew!
I cannot put into words the excitement I feel about getting this blog going. It is a dream of mine to share my passion with the world - or at least a few readers.
My name is Femma. I'm a Midwestern crafty femme who not too long ago had no idea had to sew.
I grew up with a sewing mother. She could whip out a dress in no time. She sewed linens, curtains, clothing, and even outfits for my dolls. I also wanted to be like her, but I never seemed to be able to pick it up.
But as an adult I kept at it. I sewed some pretty ugly things on my path to success. It was all part of the learning process!
And here I am, 27, with my very own sewing machine, about to open up an Etsy store full of my own creations. I want to pass some of my passion and knowledge on to you!
